We haul almost everything a home or business can throw at us — furniture, appliances, remodel debris, and full cleanouts. Here's the complete rundown, including the few restricted items we can't legally load.
Call (812) 803-2110Free quote · Fast pickups across the Wabash ValleyOne of the perks of full-service junk removal is that you do not have to sort your pile into “yes” and “no” before we arrive. We take the vast majority of non-hazardous household, office, and light construction items. Still, a short list of materials is off-limits by law or safety rule, so here is exactly where the line falls.
A handful of materials are classed as household hazardous waste or are otherwise restricted from landfill loads under Indiana and federal rules. We cannot legally load these in the truck, but the good news is that Vigo County has proper channels for nearly all of them.
Tires and refrigerant-bearing appliances are a special case: we can take them, but they follow their own disposal path (Indiana tire rules and Clean Air Act refrigerant recovery), so they may carry a small add-on. See our dedicated tire and refrigerator guides.
If you have never used a junk removal service, the process is refreshingly simple. You point, we haul. Here is the whole flow:
It is not just households. We regularly clear out offices, retail spaces, rentals, and small warehouses across the Wabash Valley. That includes office furniture, cubicles, desks, filing cabinets, store fixtures and shelving, breakroom appliances, and the general clutter that piles up in back rooms and storage areas. If you are a property manager, contractor, or business owner with a space to clear, the same take/won't-take rules apply — just at a larger scale.
If you have something unusual, just ask. We would rather answer a quick question than have you guess. Call or text (812) 803-2110 and describe what you have — if we cannot take it, we will point you to the right Vigo County drop-off or event.
There is no job too small or too big. Some folks call us for a single mattress or one dead treadmill; others need an entire home, garage, and shed emptied. We size the truck and crew to the job either way. If you only have one or two items, we still come to where they sit and carry them out — you do not have to drag anything to the curb first. And if your pile grows between the quote and the pickup, just tell us; we would rather adjust the price up front than surprise you.
Before anything heads to Sycamore Ridge Landfill, we try to divert what we can. Usable furniture and household goods can go to Goodwill of the Wabash Valley, the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, or the Catholic Charities Bethany House Household Exchange; metals go to scrap; and electronics go to e-waste recycling. It keeps good items in the community and out of the ground.
Local facility names, programs, and rules above were last verified August 2026. Fees, hours, and event dates change — call the facility to confirm current details before you haul.
Not wet paint. Latex (water-based) paint can be solidified with kitty litter and placed in your household trash. Oil-based paint, stain, and varnish are household hazardous waste and go to a Vigo County Solid Waste District Tox Away event. Dried, empty latex cans we can take.
Yes. We handle the refrigerant properly under federal Clean Air Act rules. Because that disposal path costs more than a standard landfill trip, fridges and freezers can carry a small add-on. Call (812) 803-2110 for a quote.
We can take tires, but Indiana keeps them out of regular landfill loads, so they follow a registered disposal path and may cost a little extra. See our Terre Haute tire disposal guide for the details.
No. Chemicals, solvents, gasoline, propane and other compressed-gas cylinders, asbestos, and medical waste are restricted. The Vigo County Solid Waste District holds Tox Away collection days for household hazardous waste — that's the right home for those items.
